I should like to congratulate every participant – as it is your entry that helped to make this year another success. The standard was high with many closely fought matches.  Once again the competitors have overcome bad weather, injuries and long cold nights to produce an exciting and worthwhile event. My thanks must also go to the handicapping team who again negotiated a task that is by no means easy.   I offer our winners my hearty congratulations and sincere thanks to every player who took part.
