Welcome to Wilsons Ladies Netball Club

Wilsons Ladies Netball Club was founded in 2013 to provide netball for players of all abilities and ages (over 18's) on a primarily social basis at Old Wilsonians Sports Ground, Hayes Hill, Hayes Kent BR2 7HN.

The club was set up by Jane Paton and Denise Pilgrim, both experienced netball coaches with longstanding connections with the Old Wilsonians association.

We make use of a dedicated netball court within the multi use games area (MUGA) and are looking to have a second court within the tennis club area at Old Wilsonians Sports Ground.

We now have a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Social Sec. and are part of the larger Old Wilsonians Association, though we did not adopt the 'old' in our club title!

We comprise of around twenty five ladies of various ages and abilities and play for fun on a Wednesday evening between 730pm and 830pm at the clubhouse with some players also competing on a Saturday morning in the North Kent League and some dedicated ladies doing both!

The whole ethos of the club is to have fun playing netball and socialising is an important element of our club. We normally retire to the bar area after sessions for a good 'chat' and 're hydration' and hold nights out at local restaurants. We have also hosted social events such as a BBQ at the club.

We host the occasional B2 friendly netball tournament inviting other like minded local clubs to join us at Old Wilsonians Sports Ground.

The club has evolved from not only providing social netball on a Wednesday evening to now having a side compete in the Saturday morning North West Kent League.

The North West Kent League (NWKL) currently takes place at Bromley High School. We play in Division 12 every other Saturday morning. Times we play at are 9:00, 10:25 or 11:50.
