Old Wilsonians 204 for 7, Bexleyheath 207 for 3

A third wicket stand of 136 between Tahir Khan (35) and Jason Batson (106 n.o) won this game for Bexleyheath as they recorded a 7 wicket victory with over 14 overs to spare on a day when the bat was in control, 411 runs being scored and only ten wickets falling
The Old Wilsonians innings has started promisingly but soon the wickets started to tumble with only opener Syd Sherlock (93) standing firm and he had to wait until the arrival of Eoin Mathews (36 n.o), with whom he shared a seventh wicket stand of 69, before receiving any real support and between them they pushed the total beyond 200
However, this was never going to be enough and the visitors enjoyed batting on a good wicket to continue their encouraging start to the season
As for Old Wilsonians, they are desperately in need of a victory to prevent their season becoming one of struggle

Bickley Park 2nd Xl 266 for 5, Old Wilsonians 2nd Xl 70

With Bickley Park's score on 66 for 3, this game was evenly poised, but some big hitting by Daniel Magin (76), Julian Rawley (66) and Harry Stafford (55 n.o) enabled them to compile an impressive 266 runs from their 45 overs, Siva Ranjan and Doug Forbes both taking two wickets for the OWs
The visitor's reply was a sorry affair and they were bowled out for jut 70 in 17 overs, the ubiquitous Magin showed his bowling talents to add to those of his batting, claiming nine of the ten wickets to fall at a cost of 34 runs

Old Wilsonians 3rd Xl 115 for 7, Orpington 3rd Xl 116 for 1

Having restricted Old Wilsonians to 115 runs, Orpington had little difficulty in achieving the runs required for victory with opening bat Mike Reade (69 n.o) leading the way
And they could have been chasing a much lower total but for Jason James (41 n.o) and Howard Abbett (23 n,o) putting on 39 in an unbroken eighth wicket partnership, Nitin Grangwans, Robin Husain and Pablo Starling all claiming two wickets for the hosts
The OWs used seven bowlers in an attempt to get themselves back into the game but only had one success
