JUNIOR MATCHES – SUMMER 2023 – information for parents and players
In January 2023 the club will enter its junior and Colts teams. This event is called National League, but the matches are all arranged so they are relatively local. This is a great opportunity for youngsters to gain tennis and personal development. All players will get club kit for their matches – a white t-shirt with the club’s emblem.
Each team needs 2 players but we really need a squad of 3-4 players for a team to be viable.
Each match consists of 2 singles and 1 doubles rubber – all played using the Fast Four format. We will make sure all players and parents understand this before the event starts so please don’t worry about this aspect.
8U, 9U and 10U are mixed gender teams. The older ones are separate for boys and girls.
Fixtures and final match dates will be known in March.

Step 1 - using the table below, check which age category your child will be eligible to play in
Step 2 – review the potential match dates shown below. Matches can be either at home at Old Wilsonians’ LTC or at the opposing club. For the younger ages - 8U and 9U (and potentially the 10U) – the event will be on a single day at a central venue – likely to be Bromley Tennis Centre at Newstead Woods, Orpington
