Old Wilsonians 172 Blackheath 173 for 6

Old Wilsonians started their league season in a positive frame of mind hitting 31 from the first four overs and although they had lost a wicket by this time they had laid the foundations for a big total, but it did not pan out that way as the Blackheath bowlers stuck to their task and bowled their hosts out for 172 in the 47th over, Dan Holmes, 3 for 25, Zach Brown, 2 for 26 and Tom Foster, 2 for 38, doing most of the damage.
For the OWs Syd Sherlock (38) dug in as the wickets began to tumble as did Louis Pryor (45), with Elliot Bettridge (17) adding a brief flurry towards the end of the innings, but, other, than that, the bowlers were in control.
Blackheath took just 33.2 overs to score the runs required, the major contributors being Tom Foster (36). Joel Ewan (31) and and Mahfuzul Karim Mahi (29), with Siva Ranjan and Sheehan Sivaranjan both taking two wickets for the OWs

Lessa Christ Church 1st Xl 207 Old Wilsonians 2nd Xl 149

Old Wilsonians did well to restrict Lessa Christ Church to 207 from their 45 overs, with Doug Forbes, Steve Blunt, Sam Forbes and Josh Frampton all taking two wickets, with Raj Puranik (46), Rajes Kumar (49) Sunil Mour (33) and Sahil Suri (23) all making useful contributions for the hosts
However, with the OWs reply soon reading 9 for 4, the good work of their bowlers was soon put into perspective by the home side, Anees Sharma, 4 for 20, being the chief wrecker, ably assisted by Sachin Sharma and Sumer Sethi with two each and, without a commanding innings from Ali Hasan Butt (96), things could have been so much worse for the visitors with only Josh Frampton (12) making it into the dizzy heights of double figures as well as the commanding Butt

Holmesdale 3rd Xl 166 Old Wilsonians 3rd Xl 171 for 8

Having bowled Holmesdale out for 166 in 27 overs - Simon Doherty 4 for 43, Oscar Rushton 3 for 33 - Old Wilsonians seemed to be up against it at 48 for 5, as their hosts put on the pressure, Jatinder Luthra, 3 for 40, leading the way, but they then encountered the resilience of skipper Barrie Frampton (73 n.o) who led his side to a two wicket victory
The Holmesdale innings had also encountered problems and, at 96 for 7, they were indebted to Pete Grove (20) and Hammad Khan (37 n.o) as the tail wagged with conviction
However, it was not enough to deny the visitors who, despite some initial alarms, were able to secure victory thanks mainly to their composed skipper

Old Roan 3rd Xl 159 for 7, Old Wilsonians 4th Xl 163 for 6

Things were looking good for Old Roan as their top three, David Skinner (37), Ahmed Khan (59) and Ben Isden (22) all scored well. However, the side had forgotten about the experience and guile of Neil Treacher, 3 for 14, and Howard Abbett, 3 for 29 who, between them, scuttled the Roan's middle and lower order to restrict them to 159 for 7
By contrast the Old Wilsonian innings was more measured and consistent, with valuable contributions from Alex Forbes (27), Graeme Nelson (26), David Ward (16), Jason James (14) and Howard Abbett (27 n.o) enabling them to achieve a four wicket victory
