OWFC Newsletter No. 1582

Good news, there are match reports to read this week. Unfortunately despite our rallying call some teams failed to pay attention! Anyway, on with the action…

The 2s made the trip to Bealonians FC for their cup final this week, and were unlucky to go down 3-6 to an accomplished Old Esthamians 2nd XI who defied their league position in the league below to come out on top. Also away from home, the 1s drew 1-1 at Alleyn’s, while the OWFC 3s lost one and drew one in yet another double header.

The 4s went down 3-4 in a 7-goal thriller, while the 5s and 6s also both lost. Meanwhile at Civil Service, the 8s managed a 6-1 win against a below-par Civil Service 9th XI, with skipper Kek Amankwah scoring direct from a corner!

This week the 2s are away at West Wickham on Saturday, while there will be some samba football on show at OWFC – the 8s and 9s are both at home on Hayes!

Happy Easter to all and good luck to those in action!
