OLD WILSONIANS’ FIVE-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT 2017
THIS EMAIL IS YOUR INVITATION TO ENTER O.W.F.C.’s ANNUAL 5-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT ON SUNDAY 13th August 2016 AT HAYES HILL.
Why not kick off your season with some games of five-a-side played in a competitive but social atmosphere at Old Wilsonians? As winners of the Southern Amateur Ian Hamilton Trophy for Hospitality 2013/14 & Runners Up 2015/16 you can be assured we will be providing the following:
A good standard of competition with all teams playing at least five games.
Six pitches with excellent playing surfaces.
Ample car parking or equally easy access by public transport.
Good Changing facilities with newly installed showers
A team of stewards to ensure the day runs smoothly.
First aid facilities - just in case!
A play ground for the kids – albeit unsupervised and therefore used at your own risk
AND PROBABLY OF MOST IMPORTANCE - AN ALL DAY BAR & BARBECUE!
As usual, the only thing we can’t guarantee is the weather! However, this year we will again be allowing players to wear moulded boots.
The cost of entry is £70 per team, but £60 if paid prior to 29th July 2017. An application form is enclosed and anyone wishing to take part is asked to complete the form and return it to via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or at the address shown in the letter heading, with your cheque made payable to “OLD WILSONIANS’ FOOTBALL CLUB”.

Please note that payment is required in advance - NO - “PAY ON THE DAY” arrangements will be available. The competition has become increasingly popular and this year a maximum entry of 36 teams will be allowed on a “first come, first served” basis.
So to avoid disappointment make sure you book your place now by completing the enclosed application form and returning asap but no later than Saturday 5th August.
An information pack containing the rules of the tournament, timetables, etc. will be sent to your nominated person on Monday 7th August. Meanwhile, we look forward to hearing from you.
