ODCUACO 228 for 6, Old Wilsonians 224 for 6

Some solid batting from both sides in the summer sunshine saw 452 runs scored in this entertaining game which ODCUACO won by the slimmest of margins, namely 4 runs The home side batted first and were indebted to B. Webster (38), E.Patel (23). A,. Ainger (25), D. Murrell (50 n.o) and T. Howe (31 n.o) for the majority of their runs as the Old Wilsonian side toiled in the heat Still needing points to maintain their Second Division status, the OWs made a disastrous start to their reply and slumped to 19 for 3. However, a fourth wicket stand of 102 between Matt Golding (69) and Akeem Ifill (50) put them back in the game with Jacob Gold (57 n.o) then playing a commanding innings, and they needed 19 runs from the last two overs, which proved to be a bridge too far and they fell five runs short of their intended target

Old Wilsonians 2nd Xl 200, Linden Park 2nd Xl 195 for 7

This was a massive win for Old Wilsonians as they fight to preserve their Second Division status and they need just eight points from their last two games in order to do so They were indebted to Callum Steel (64) and Sanath Dandeniya (33) who put on 87 for the second wicket, although must have been disappointed to slump from 132 for 2 to 200 all out as Annand Veerapandian, 4 for 58 and John Harvey, 3 for 34 bowled Linden Park back into the game The visitor's reply was dominated by opener Raj Awatramani (101) who was seventh out with the score on 187 to give his side a chance of victory. However, the OW bowlers and fielders held their nerve and secured that important victory, albeit by only five runs, David Pilgrim finishing with 3 for 22

Bexleyheath 3rd Xl 137 for 7. Old Wilsonians 3rd Xl 73

This was a comfortable victory for Bexleyheath despite the fact that Old Wilsoinians restricted them to 137 for 7 from their 40 overs, Joe Jukes, James Sellar and Josh Holland all picking up two wickets each, Craig Richley (21), Nick Parnham (32), Archie Langley (28) and Connor Barry (26) being the main contributors with the bat However only Jason James (31) caused the visiting bowlers any degree of resilience and they enjoyed themselves in the summer sunshine with some impressive bowling performances, namely Jack Woods, 3 for 2, Ryan Frisby 2 for 23, Thomas Frisby 3 for 33 and Matthew Wilson 2 for 14

Old Wilsonians 4th Xl 92. ODCUACO 4th Xl 94 for 3
