Orpington 141 for 9, Old Wilsonians 142 for 2

An unbeaten last wicket stand of 24 between David Robinson (52 n.o) and Hayden Allcock (10 n.o) eneabled Orpington to at least make their total look like a modicum of repectability but it was nowhere near enough for their bowlers to defend and Old Wilsonians cruised to a comfortable 8 wicket victory in less than 35 overs Orpington lost an early wicket and things never rteally improved as the top order were blown away and they found themselves at 63 for 6 at the end of the 22nd over. Things did improve marginally but when the stoic Alex Watts (20) was seventh out in the 38th over the score had only reached 97 and, but for that late flurry, their total would have been minimal For the OWs Michael Mitchell finished with 4 for 24 whilst Dave Ellicott-White was the epitome of frugality as he bowled his ten overs for eight runs Their openers , Velson Devarajulu (45) and Josh Lawrence (24) then laid a solid foundation before Syd Sherlock (42 n.o) and Matt Golding (14 n.o) completed the job

Old Wilsonians' 2nd Xl 164, Old Colfeians' 2nd Xl 169 for 9

In a game that went right to the wire, Old Colfeians defeated Old Wilsonians by just one wicket with just nine balls remaining as the hosts paid the price for not using all of their overs - they were dismissed with 29 balls remaing of their 50 overs allocation Wayne Crossland (44) and Cameron Jones (38) both played solid innings but in Hashil Patel, 4 for 37 and Iftkhar Jail 3 for 20 the visitors had the bowlers to restrict their hosts to a manageable total And so it proved, as Mandeep Singh (34) and Mani Singh (59 n.o) led the reply in a positive manner to achieve that narrow victory, despite the efforts of David Pilgrim. 3 for 16 and Andrew Pommering, 3 for 56

Old Wilsonians' 3rd Xl 90, Blackheath 3rd Xl 91 for 7

This was a day on which to be a bowler, with 17 wickets falling for 181 runs as Blackheath beat Old Wilsonians by three wickets For the OWs only Seth Clifford (33) and Isaac Rodda (11 n.o) managed to get into double figures with the other nine batsmen contributing just 28 runs between them, Edwin Samuel, 5 for 29 and Sumeet Munde, 2 for 16, being the main beneficeries for Blackheath But when it came to the visitors turn to bat things did not get much better with seven players contributing 21 between them, and they were indebted to 'man of the match. Samuel (40) to see them over the line, with Joe Jukes taking 4 for 26 for the hosts

Old Wilsonians' 4th Xl 116 for 6, Holmesdale 3rd 117 for 4

Some fine bowling by Hammond Khan, who finished with 4 for 18, had Old Wilsonians in all sorts of trouble as they slumped to 45 for 5. However a determined sixth wicket stand of 67 between Dave Jukes (21) and Prem Senthitkumaran (27 n.o) frustrated the Holmesdale bowlers although they must have been happy to restrict the visitors to 116 for 6 Holmesdale, too, lost early wickets but an unbeaten fifth wicket stand of 71 between Alfie Marr-Johnson (59 n.o) and Max Lindsay (36 n.o) saw them safely home

Old Wilsonians' 5th Xl 235, Bexleyheath 5th xl 88

With their top three, Doug Forbes (70), Grahame Nelson (33) and Joshua Merchant (33) all in fine form the sky seemed to be the limit for Old Wilsonians but, and to their credit, Bexleyheath fought back well with Jay Singh, 3 for 27 and Anurag Graimelia, 4 for 27 leading the way Even so 235 was a mammoth total to chase and so it proved, with the ubiquitous Nelson, 3 for 15 and Merchant, 3 for 17 both proving that it was their day as the visitors were dismissed for 88, with only Guvir Bhody (26) really troubling the home side's bowlers
