Old Wilsonians 1st XI 144 All out versus Upchurch 1st XI 145 for 5 - Upchurch win by 5 wickets!
The patience of both of these sides was rewarded when rain delayed the start of this game to such an extent that it was reduced to 25 overs per side Despite losing two early wickets Old Wilsonians recovered well with Malinda Thotiwilage (42), Jonathan Rodda (13), Michael Mitchell (27), Chris Scott (11), Louis Pryor (12) and Cameron Jones (11) all making the most of the overs available to them to finish on a creditable 144 all out, David Masters, 2 for 16 and Aaron Walker, 2 for 21, being the pick of the Upchurch bowlers The Upchurch reply started in a manner that the encircling gloom and renewed threat of rain demanded and they raced to 48 from the first seven overs before both fell for 16 and 35 respectively, and had Aaron Johnson not survived a sharp caught and bowled chance from the first ball he received, the the OWs would have been right back in the game As it was Johnson (34) and Michael Hales Jnr (24) then put on 37 and when Hales was dismissed the hosts needed just 27 runs with six wickets and over six overs to spare However, the OWs made them work hard for their victory, including taking another wicket and, in the end, Upchurch got home with just four balls to spare and shortly before another deluge.View scorecard

Old Wilsonians 4th Xl 96 for 9, Blue Star 30 for 0 - Match Abandoned
Having restricted Old Wilsonians’ 4th Xl to 96 for 9, Blue Star were thwarted by the elements in their quest for victory and had to be content themselves with that of a moral variety The OWs started well enough with Chetan Kamat (20) and Derek Birmingham (13) laying some solid foundations, but then came a dramatic collapse and but for an heroic innings from skipper Jeff Mascarenhas (38 n,o) they may well have crumbled into a ruin as Robert Mills 3 for 16 and Phil Grimsley, 2 for 17, in particular made life very difficult for the OW batsmen The Blue Star reply started with purpose and conviction but lasted only 10 overs as the elements had the final say.View scorecard
Old Wilsonians 5th Xl 142 for 7, New Ash Green 144 for 6 - New Ash Green win by 5 wickets
In a game restricted to 32 overs per team, New Ash Green eventually achieved a comfortable victory over Old Wilsonians’ 5th Xl as Gareth Jones (18), Glen Freeman (27), Martyne Greene (12), Matthew Bushe (19) , Bhavin Purohit (31 n.o) and Munib Syed (13) all scored steadily if not emphatically, despite the efforts of Adrian Beckett, 2 for 20 and Rohan Mehra, 2 for 30 to restrict them Earlier the top order of the OW’s batting had failed to deliver, with only Adrian Beckett (23) and Fraser Baxendine (25) troubling the visiting bowlers and were indebted to Joshua Merchant (21) and Nicholas Poulson (30 n.o) to regain some pride, but not even they could perform miracles as Felix Quantrill, 3 for 20, and Matthew Bushe, 3 for 25, captured six of the seven wickets to fall.View scorecard
