Old Wilsonians 1st XI 161 all out versus Ashford Town, 206 for 9 – Ashford win by 45 Runs
A fifth wicket stand of 109 between Jake Richardson (72) and Ben Allon (67 n.o) enabled Ashford Town to secure their first win of the season against Old Wilsonians Coming together with the score on 61 for 4 they not only dug their side out of an enormous hole but scored at five runs an over and although their innings fell away a little after Richardson’s dismissal, Josh Lawrence, 4 for 39, being the main beneficiary, they would probably have been delighted with a score of over 200 at the drinks interval when the score-board read 68 for 4 The OW reply never really got going, their top five contributing just 39 between them, and although a solid sixth stand of 56 by Michael Mitchell (33) and Syd Sherlock (27) more than doubled the score the damage had been done, and despite some further resistance from the lower order, they fell well short of the total required Phil Woodger, 3 for 27, did most of that early damage whilst Ben Allon added 3 for 41 to his fine batting performance to finish man of the match.View scorecard
Bexleyheath 2nd XI 170 All Out versus Old Wilsonians 2nd XI All Out – Bexleyheath win by 8 Runs!
In a tight game between these two promotion rivals Bexleyheath secured a narrow victory to promote their own chances and dent those of their rivals Batting the first the home side were indebted to Neil Alsemgeest (22), Benjamin Aldred (31) and Dale Clarkson (32) for most of their runs before the Old Wilsonian’s leg-spinner, David Pilgrim, weaved his magic to finish with 5 for 38 to put the visitors in the driving seat The OWs lost early wickets but a fine stand between Kenny Maxwell (32) and Rob McEwen (43) put them back in control but, after their respective dismissals, their innings fell away and they fell eight runs short of the Bexleyheath total.View Scorecard

Having restricted HSBC to 134 for 8 from their 40 overs, Howard Abbett 3 for 16, Robbie Adams 2 for 29, Old Wilsonians made short work of achieving a seven wicket victory as they cantered home in just 30.3 overs The hosts slumped from 71 for 2 to their eventual total and although Lee Houghton (27 n.o) did his best to hold his side together, he was given little support after the dismissal of James Crozier (33) The OW reply had a consistency about it with Barrie Frampton (25), Josh Holland (25), Danny Phillips (27) and Andy Hazzard (26 n,o) all making useful contributions, with Shimul Rahman, 2 for 15, being the most successful of the HSBC bowlers.View scorecard
