Hi All,
As it is my 50th birthday and Angela is now five years into her recovery from Breast Cancer I thought it would be good to raise some money for charity.
As my knees have now disintegrated no more marathons are allowed so I will stick to a gentle game of cricket.
I will be putting together a team to face the might of the Ravens Wood School staff team.Guest of honour for my team will be Mr Anil Desai who has been treating Angela for the duration of her recovery.
Mr Desai is a trustee of the South East London Breast Cancer Trust which is the charity I would like to support. We would ask that if you are interested in supporting this cause to make a donation.
More importantly we would like you to come to support the event and have a drink with me to celebrate my 50 not out.
I would ask that any cards etc not be given but just make a donation as we would really appreciate the support.

Cricket Club Race Night

[ Saturday July 14, 2012; 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm. ]

The Seniors and Colts are holding a race Night on Saturday 14th July to raise funds for both sections of the club.

There will be 8 races on the evening shown on DVD’s with a Tote for betting. Bets are 50p each. It is an enjoyable way of raising money and is a family event with all members young and old being welcome.

There is no entry fee so please come and join us for this evening and help us raise much needed funds for the continued expansion of the cricket club.
